During Shetland Wool Week 2025 the shop will be open extended hours and I will also be at the Opening Ceremony and the Maker’s Market during the event (dates and times to follow)
Head toward Scalloway but before you go into Scalloway take the junction on the left-hand side towards Burra Isle. Keep going to Burra, you will cross two bridges. When you cross the second bridge into Burra, at the top of the steep hill turn left at the junction towards Bridge End. The house is only a short drive from this junction.
You will go around a sharp bend then go past the Meal Beach car park (on your left) and head right up the hill. There’s a red house on the left-hand side half way up the hill, my house and studio is the next one. There is a dry-stone dyke around the front of the house and a light grey conservatory facing the road. The door is on the porch and has a Langsoond sticker on it, this is where the yarn is!
The post code is ZE2 9LB which will get you to the right area but the house doesn’t register on Sat Nav!
