Dyed with Logwood and Indigo

100% Shetland wool

Weight of skein: 100g / 350m (383yds)

Recommended needle size – 3.0mm – 4.0mm

Yarn from Shetland sheep reared in Burra Isle, Shetland. Clipped in Burra. Spun in the UK.

This yarn has been been dyed with natural plant dyes. The colour has been fixed and rinsed well but to make sure there is no colour run, especially when making a garment with more than one shade, it is recommenced the yarn is rinsed in lukewarm water before use and hung up to dry.

If you are planning to knit a sweater or other large garment, please ensure that you buy the quantity you need at one time, as due to the nature of natural dying it is virtually impossible to replicate the colours exactly.
